REGISTRATION!
Do you know who they are? Have you visited the website called
registered service dogs .com (photo below)? Last year the
owner left the U.S. and moved to Ecuador.
He says he retired to Ecuador for tax reasons. Beware if you choose to send your
money to ECUADOR and to a "for profit" company who's sole owner left the
country to avoid taxes. We do not believe that anyone offering you
registration based upon United States Department of Justice laws
while operating outside of the Country and the US legal system can
substantiate legitimate service dog registration.
It appears that his company is only in business to sell you a patch
and beyond that he has no other involvement in developing or
supporting the rights of disabled people with service dogs.
Now we don't make a habit of knocking our competition but in this
case concerns need to be noted.
The choice is yours to make and if you feel that your
rights and your animals rights are best represented by a company in
South America then go for it. Ask youreself; What will you do when business
owners check your registration online and see where the registration
originated? Do you think they won't challenge your rights at all?
National Association of Service Dogs is a nationally recognized, non-profit organization, which professionally certifies service dogs (and other special aid dogs or animals) to assist people with disabilities or special needs.
Ask yourself, why should you get your dog registered or certified as a service dog? Because, seeing is believing. As noted below the regulation clearly states that no documentation is required. At least not on a federal level, yet. Some states do require animals to be certified by other criteria and that requirement is growing year by year. We provide a nationally recognized certification so when you are challenged (and you will be) by a business owner you can prove your service dog (or animal) is registered and certified.
So, do you want to take your service dog with you wherever you go? If so, the process is very simple. We suggest reading the entire article before you continue with your service dog registration.

TERMS AND AGREEMENT – By selecting your membership level option and by completing the financial transaction you acknowledge that your membership fee is considered a non-refundable donation to National Association of Service Dogs (NASD) a nonprofit organization. You further agree and understand that as a member you are eligible to receive the corresponding Certification, ID Cards, Patches, etc. offered to members only, who have met the minimum donation price level chosen and only after all three (3) of the required forms (Owner’s Declaration, Medical Doctor’s Statement, and the Veterinarian’s Statement) have been completed in their entirety and received by NASD via our fax number (877) 329-6273 or our form submission email which is forms@naservicedogs.org. You also understand and agree that failure upon your part to complete the documentation requirements for registering a service dog with NASD does not entitle you to a refund of your donation. For LIFETIME MEMBERS annual I.D. packages include one patch and one set of two I.D. cards and the member is responsible for paying reasonable shipping/handling fees estimated at $15.00 or less.
